The European Commission adopted on 15 June 2005 a Communication on a roadmap to an integrated internal control framework addressed to the European Parliament, the Council and the Court of Auditors. This communication was intended to begin a dynamic process of discussion to build on the Commission reforms. The aim was to encourage the institutions and Member States to work more closely together to achieve an internal control framework from beginning to end. |
