Press Release: Russia: Visiting leaders should be firm on rights

Human Rights Watch (HRW) says that US President George W. Bush and European Union leaders should voice concern about human rights violations in Russia during their forthcoming summits in Moscow. The summits will take place against a background of what HRW describes as continuing government abuses in Chechnya and a clampdown on civic freedoms throughout Russia.
