Press Release: Scotland’s billion euro boost

The Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment, Richard Lochhead, following the publication of the White Paper on Independence on 27 November 2013, outlined some of the benefits of independence for Scottish farming – including the ‘billion euro boost’, which Scotland’s farmers and the Scottish economy would have gained under EU rules if Scotland was currently independent.
