Press Release: Skill forecasts are important tools for policy, but there is room for improvement

An international group of research and labour market experts found that Cedefop’s skill forecasts are a useful indicator of how the supply and demand for skills is developing in the EU labour market. The experts were participating in a technical conference organised by Cedefop (Thessaloniki, 17-18 February 2011) focusing on the relevance, uses and possible improvements to the agency’s medium-term skills forecasts.
