The European Commission on 24 November 2005 decided under the EC Treaty state aid rules not to allow an extension of the delivery date for a cruise ship built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. Under the EU’s state aid rules, operating aid for shipbuilding had been abolished at the end of 2000. |
