The European Commission has approved under EC Treaty state aid rules €17.3 million of restructuring aid in favour of Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW), a Polish industrial machinery company. HSW is not a steel producer and is therefore eligible for restructuring aid. After an in-depth investigation initiated in November 2005 (see IP/05/1454), the Commission has concluded that the measures are limited to the minimum necessary and do not create undue distortions of competition. |
