Press Release: Statement by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton on the publication of the report by the UN investigation mission on chemical weapons in Syria

On 17 September 2013 EU High Representative Catherine Ashton welcomed the publication of the UN report on the events in Syria that unfolded on 21 August 2013. The report confirmed that a large-scale chemical attack was perpetrated on that day with the use of sarin gas.
