On 9.8.00 the 'Objective 3 Single Programming Document' for Finland for the period 2000-2006 was approved by the European Commission. Financed by the European Social Fund, Objective 3 supports the adaptation and modernisation of policies and systems of education, training and employment. EU funding for the programme for 2000-2006 will total €416 million. This decision is one of several currently being taken by the Commission to launch the new Structural Funds programming period. |
