On 9.8.00 the 'Single Programming Document' for the Netherlands for the next seven years was approved by the Commission. This Objective 3 programme financed by the European Social Fund will support measures to adapt, strengthen and modernise education, training and employment in the country from 2000-2006. EU financing for the seven year period will total €1,750 million. This decision is one of many currently being taken by the Commission to launch the new Structural Funds programming period. |
