A meeting of the donors backing the electoral process in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was held in Brussels on 11 July 2005, jointly chaired by the European Commission and MONUC, the UN mission in the DRC. The donors and the Congolese government stepped up their support with additional funding of €84 million, i.e. USD 100 million. |
