Press Release: Transparency: a tool to enhance not only the credibility and legitimacy of lobbying activities but also of EU policies and decisions

As part of the consultation process initiated by the European Commission on the Green Paper on the European Transparency Initiative (ETI), the EESC and the Commission organised on 11 July 2006 a hearing on two key questions of the green paper: the creation of a registration system and the drawing up of a joint code of conduct for civil society organisations and other interested parties.
