Press Release: UK companies continue to outperform Europe’s

The UK Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), in collaboration with the Department for Enterprise, Enteprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR), released the '2008 Value Added Scoreboard' on 9 June 2008. This database ranks the top 800 UK companies and the top 750 European companies by value added. This seventh annual addition shows that the top 185 UK companies continue to be more efficient at creating value, or wealth, than their European peers.

Please note that the DIUS and BERR were replaced by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) in June 2009.
