Press Release: We need to build on best ever bathing water quality results

UK Water Minister, Elliot Morley, announced record bathing water quality for England and the UK on 11 November 2002. He also emphasised the need to improve standards further if the UK was to meet the much higher imperative standards required by the revised Bathing Water Directive proposed by the European Commission.
