On the 1 September 2016, a statement was released by the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, after his meeting with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel. Mr Tusk highlighted the Luxembourg European Union Presidency, mentioned the current issues and finally sketched the agenda for the upcoming meeting of 27 Member States in Bratislava, on the 16th of September 2016.
