Pro-Europe lobby warns Brown to end his scepticism

The lobby group Britain in Europe met with UK Chancellor Gordon Brown on 17 November 2004 and took him to task over his long-running scepticism about the European economy. Mr Brown was urged to stop 'playing to the gallery', by using every opportunity to highlight EU failings.
