Problems fear in cross-border merger changes

According to a global report published on 15 January 2003 by White & Case, the US-based law firm, international regulators' efforts to harmonise merger control regulations pose a host of new problems for companies planning cross-border deals. The report warns that the moves mean companies are uncertain how the regulations will be applied to their deals.
