Summary: In January 2015, the Spanish Government presented a Draft Bill on the Social Action Third Sector (SATS). This pioneering initiative is a recognition of the work of the SATS in the area of social inclusion and strengthens its sustainability and participation in the design and implementation of public policies. At the same time, the Government also proposed a Draft Bill aimed at regulating volunteering which strengthens its institutional capacity and thereby also that of the SATS itself. |
