On 12 June 2015, Finland submitted application EGF/2015/005 FI/Computer programming for a financial contribution from the EGF, following redundancies in the computer programming sector in the regions of Länsi-Suomi, Helsinki-Uusimaa, Etelä-Suomi and Pohjois- ja Itä-Suomi. Following its assessment of this application, the Commission has concluded that the conditions for awarding a financial contribution from the EGF are met.
