Public and private financing of infrastructure, Vol.1: Evolution and economics of private infrastructure finance; Vol.2: Policy challenges in mobilizing finance

Volume 15 of the EIB Papers was published in December 2010. Divided in two issues, it compiles the articles presented at the 2010 EIB Conference in Economics & Finance held in Luxembourg on 11 November 2010 on 'Public and private financing of infrastructure: Trends and future perspectives'.

Issue 1 (Evolution and economics of private infrastructure finance) examines the relevant facts and figures, the basic economics of infrastructure finance and infrastructure assets and markets, including the impact of the crisis.

Issue 2 (Policy changes in mobilizing finance) discusses the various issues in public and private investment in infrastructure and identifies the key factors shaping infrastructure finance going forward as well as the public policy issues involved.

The EIB Papers are published each year by the Economic and Financial Studies Division of the European Investment Bank.
