Article reports that Qatar Airways is set to become the launch customer for the new family of Airbus long-haul, wide-body jets, the A350. The Middle East carrier is expected to finalise an order for 80 aircraft in June 2007. It will also order further A380s.

Aeroflot also said March 2007 it planned to sign a deal to lease 22 A350 models.
