R&D spending falls further behind target

Article, the third in a series entitled 'Europe's Global Challenge', reports that according to the International R&D Scoreboard 2005 published on 24 October 2005 by the (UK) Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and based on responses from 1,000 companies, the research and development gap between Europe and the rest of the world is continuing to widen.
