Reding targets mobile phone roaming rip-off

European Voice reported in February 2006 on the intention of the European Commission to take further action against telecom companies over the prices charged for using mobile phones abroad.

The European Commissioner for information society and media was scheduled to address the EU's national telecom regulators at their meeting on 8-9 February 2006.
