Regions: Statistical Yearbook 2001

This publication gives the latest statistics relating to economic and social factors in the regions of the European Union. The issue contains information on population, employment and unemployment, regional accounts, agriculture, industry, energy, services and research and development. By means of a series of coloured maps and graphs, together with commentaries and explanatory texts, the interrelationships of these main regional indicators are presented at a level of detail not previously attempted.

As with the 2000 Yearbook, the publication contains a CD-ROM providing access to the latest available year's data from the REGIO database.
