Regulation (EU) 2018/1877 on the financial regulation applicable to the 11th European Development Fund

Summary:

On 22 June 2018 the European Commission presented a proposal for a Council Regulation repealing Regulation (EU) 2015/323 on the financial regulation applicable to the 11th European Development Fund. The Council of the European Union adopted the new Regulation on 26 November.

Regulation (EU) 2015/323 is structured as a set of references to Regulation No 966/2012, the financial regulation applicable to the general budget of the Union, excluding or supplementing provisions to cater for EDF specificities. Since Regulation No 966/2012 has been revised, it is necessary to adapt the 11th EDF Financial Regulation.
