Renault seals Avtovaz revamp deal

Renault signed an agreement with the other shareholders in Russia’s Avtovaz on the 27 November 2009 in a deal that will see Russia’s government pump another Rbs50bn ($1.7bn) into the near-bankrupt carmaker and its French carmaker partner contribute €240m worth of technology and knowhow.
