The annual report provides an overview of trade actions aimed at ensuring the implementation and enforcement of multilateral commitments and commitments enshrined in preferential bilateral trade agreements. It sets out the main activities and achievements, steered by the Commission's Chief Trade Enforcement Officer (CTEO) in 2022 and first quarter of 2023. The accompanying Staff Working Document contains additional information on the EU's major preferential bilateral agreements. While this report focuses on implementation and enforcement under EU trade agreements, it should also be seen in a broader context of economic security and enforcement activities in specific areas, reported separately.
