Hip research for the young

Summary:

If science and youth had just one thing in common, it would most likely come down to how their evolution can impact the future of humanity. But the two are also closely intertwined: science needs young people, and the other way around.

This edition of the Research*EU magazine focuses on initiatives on this topic. It includes 11 articles on projects which were recently or will very soon be completed, among which are four interviews on the issues of racism among young people using social media, a new method to make neuroblastoma treatment more effective, remote tools to help autistic children from their home, and a unique concept to turn children stories and other texts into realistic virtual worlds.

These ‘specials’ are followed by our usual seven sections on biology and medicine, social sciences and humanities, energy and transport, the environment, IT and telecommunications, industrial technologies and space. The magazine closes with a list of upcoming events. We look forward to receiving your feedback.
