This report concerns the 2011 Sampling and Testing Programme coordinated by the the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in accordance with Regulation (EC) 726/2004, art. 57(r). A total of 38 products were sampled and tested. The large majority (89%) of products tested complied with the authorised specifications; 4 products were found to be out of specification. In addition to the routine programme, in 2011 a specific programme for generic medicinal products was piloted. |
