The new European Commission guidelines on regional aid were adopted on 21 December 2005. The new guidelines will apply from 2007 to 2013 and replace the guidelines which expire in December 2006. This consultation document seeks views on the future designation of Assisted Areas in the United Kingdom. Document reference number: URN 06/816. Deadline for responses: 19 April 2006.
