Swedish monetary policy is consistently too tight and should emphasise stabilising employment as well as inflation, according to a report commissioned by Sweden's Riksdag Committee on Finance. It appointed Professor Frederic Mishkin and Professor Francesco Giavazzi to evaluate Swedish monetary policy between 1995 and 2005. |
