Romania allocates financial assistance package to Moldova

Romania and Moldova signed on 8 October 2015 an agreement on a reimbursable financial assistance package, aimed at avoiding Moldova's economic collapse and pushing through reforms after the country was rocked by a major banking scandal.

The first installment of the financial assistance was received by Moldovan authorities in August 2016.
