A catalogue of horrors has been discovered by a Romanian government commission established to combat widespread corruption in the international adoption business. Evidence has been revealed of global child trafficking rings, drugged babies and stolen identities. Several arrests have been made and others are to follow. Lady Nicholson, MEP and the European Union rapporteur for Romania, said it is feared that many children have ended up in prostitution and slave rings.
