Russia and US vow to conclude arms deal

Report of a meeting in Geneeva, 6 March 2009 between Hillary Clinton, the new US Secretary of State, and Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister. They pledged to conclude an ambitious news arms control deal by the end of 2009 in a sign of both countries’ desire to set their relationship on a new path after the tensions of the Bush administration years.
