Russia ‘shot down Georgia spy drone’

A United Nations observer mission said on the 26 May 2008 a Russian fighter shot down an unmanned Georgian spy drone in April 2008 over the separatist Georgian region of Abkhazia, in a report that could inflame tensions between the two countries.
