Russia warns Nato over ‘build-up’

Russia will react to a Nato military build-up on its borders, President Vladimir Putin warned, November 2007. He accused NATO of a military build-up close to its borders and threatened to suspend its obligations under a key European arms treaty, which limits the deployment of conventional weapons.
