At the NATO-Russia Permanent Joint Council (PJC) meeting in Reykjavik on 14 May 2002 NATO and Russia agreed to establish a new partnership which gives Russia a bigger voice in NATO discussions on topics including terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. Russian diplomats will now have a place in NATO's Brussels headquarters. |
