In an interview with the Financial Times, the Chairman of the UK Government's Health and Safety Commission called for a moratorium in new legislation from Whitehall and the European Union to allow companies to cope with the existing load. He went on to say that the European Union 'should concentrate on enforcing existing law rather than introducing new regulations'.
