Sarkozy calls for reform of ‘exhausted’ political system

French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy called on 5 April 2006 for constitutional reform to deal with the 'crisis of political representation' that he believes has created a gap between voters and politicians, fuelling violent protests over labour reforms.
