German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder has added his voice to that of France in calling on the European Commission to rethink plans to open the services sector to cross-border competition. Senior policy advisers to both Mr Schröder and French President Jacques Chirac met in Vienna on 4 February 2005 to discuss a joint position. |
