Article reported that nationalist politicians in Scotland and Wales were threatening to stop English voters forcing Britain to leave the European Union after a referendum.

Plaid Cymru leader Leanne Wood was quoted as saying in February 2015 that that each individual nation in the UK should have its own separate vote on whether Britain should stay in the EU if there were a referendum.

If one of the nations voted against - then Britain would have to stay in the EU, she said.

A poll conducted by Survation and commissioned by the Scottish National Party (SNP)showed that 60% of Scottish voters said withdrawal from the EU should require four out votes - in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland - rather than a majority across the UK, with just 14% disagreeing.
