The second meeting of the EU-UK Joint Committee under the Withdrawal Agreement took place on 12 June 2020 via video conference.

Further information:

The Committee was updated on the latest meetings of the Specialised Committee since the previous Joint Committee meeting and on the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement more generally. The United Kingdom took the opportunity to emphasise its government's decision no to extend the transition period further the initially agreed date of 31 December 2020. The UK also highlighted there would be no further opportunities to extend the transition period.
