Serbia's parliament passed a landmark resolution in the early hours of 31 March 2010 apologising for the 1995 Srebrenica massacre - Europe's worst atrocity since World War II.

Bosnian Serb forces led by General Ratko Mladic killed about 8,000 Bosnian Muslim (Bosniaks) men and boys after taking over the eastern enclave that was put under United Nations protection.
