Serbia's President Boris Tadic says he will never accept the independence of Kosovo, after the publication, 2 February 2007, of a UN plan which could allow it to separate. Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica stated that the proposal for Kosovo-Metohija status offered by UN Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari is illegitimate and called on parliament to establish which further steps Serbia should take. |
