Shaping public health in a new Europe through health promotion

In January 2000 the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) presented its report for the European on 'The evidence of health promotion effectiveness' at the premises of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The two-part report assesses 20 years' evidence of the health, social, economic and political impacts of health promotion and recommendations for action. Part One is the Core Document and Part Two the Evidence Book.
