Short-term statistics: Focus on the services turnover index

The publication focuses on turnover indices for six services activities. Two of them were very dynamic between 2000 to 2006: transport and communication services, and computer and related services, with a quarterly growth rate of 1.5% on average. Motor trades and wholesale trade turnover showed quarterly growth rates of 1.1% while the retail trade and hotels and restaurants activities turnover increased on average by 0.8% each quarter.
