This issue of E&I magazine analyses progress made so far in implementing the Small Business Act (SBA), while looking at how the SBA review drives Europe's economic engine forward to respond to new challenges. As part of a regular feature, it takes a look at the Enterprise Europe Network. It focuses on how the network sector groups provide enterprises operating in 17 sectors with customised support. It includes a feature on the TransAtlantics intellectual property rights (IPR) Portal, a joint EU-US initiative offering a wealth of useful information in this domain.

The promotion of a single charger for mobile phones is also featured.
