Small towns ‘relying on new EU workers’

According to a report published in November 2004 by the (UK) Trades Union Congress, 'Migrant workers from the new Europe: Propping up rural and small town Britain', rural areas and small towns are becoming more and more dependent on labour from the new eastern European Union countries to fill low-paid jobs.
