He said that SNCF needed to expand and treat the whole of Europe as its domestic market amid the sector's rapid consolidation. SNCF SNCF plans to mimic Germany's Deutsche Bahn, which has bought multiple logistics and rail freight operations across Europe, as well as the operator of the UK's Chiltern Trains passenger service.
