Spain restricting people’s right to protest, Amnesty report finds

In a new report published on the 24 April 2014, Amnesty International concluded that the excessive use of force by Spanish police and plans to strengthen repressive legislation were a damning indictment of the Spanish government’s determination to crush peaceful protest.
