Spanish ‘psycho-drama’ plays out at top of Podemos

Report of the Podemos party congress in Madrid, Spain, 11-12 February 2017, which debated important issues relating to the future strategy and tactics of the party.

Pablo Iglesias secured a significant victory in his contest against deputy Íñigo Errejón to remain Secretary General of the party, to dominate the leadership council, and to maintain Podemos as an anti-establishment protest grouping.
